Our Mission
The Hong Kong Arts Association is dedicated to advancing arts and culture in Hong Kong, fostering cultural exchange between East and West, and making arts education accessible to all.
Through the visual and performing arts and a diverse range of artistic activities, we strive to deepen public understanding and appreciation of the arts, champion the preservation and renewal of Hong Kong’s cultural heritage, and enrich lives and nourish the spirit through art.
Chairman’s Message
Art carries culture forward, preserving tradition while inspiring innovation. It is also a powerful force that connects communities and touches the human spirit.
The Hong Kong Arts Association has long been committed to promoting artistic and cultural exchange and making arts education accessible to all. Through a variety of activities and platforms, we hope to enable more people to encounter and appreciate art, experience the joy of creation, pursue beauty, and discover the value and power of culture.
We place particular emphasis on the development of traditional Chinese arts alongside contemporary creative expression. Rooted in the finest elements of China’s cultural heritage, passed down over millennia, we also embrace the cultural changes and influences of a new era. By bridging past and present and bringing together Chinese and international perspectives, we seek both to carry forward a rich cultural legacy and to nurture personal growth, aesthetic appreciation, and creativity.
Looking ahead, the Association will continue to bring together people from across society to support the sustained development of arts and culture in Hong Kong. Together, we will bring art into our communities and everyday lives, allowing Hong Kong’s beauty and brilliance to shine.
